The mission of The Faculty of Economic Sciences derives from the important role of the economist in social life, a role imposed by the criteria of efficiency and rentability which are at the basis of economic activity.

The new trends impose among other things:

• the increase of the number of specialists involved in the elaboration and implementation of projects that should answer the present day necessities of Romanian economy and society.;
• a more intense attraction of higher economic education stuff in national and multinational firms
• the development of general and specific competences in the management of economic and social phenomena.

In this respect, Faculty of Economic Sciences ensures, with the help of  a highly qualified teaching stuff,  professional training of some specialists in the domains of accounting, international business, finance and banking, trade economy, tourism , marketing and management both from a practical and theoretical perspective based on a large profound documentation regarding the experience of developed economic countries.
